Emagine Batavia Movie Theatre Grand Opening

On May 31, 2023, the Emagine Batavia Movie Theatre (550 N. Randall Rd.), home of the largest movie screen in Illinois, had the grand opening celebration with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Batavia United Way raising nearly $40,000!

It was a wonderful celebration with heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, photo ops, unlimited concessions, and films galore! We had over 800 guests attend to socialize, relax in the luxury heated recliners and “cuddle seats” while watching this summer’s best flicks, partake in the duckpin bowling in the high roller room, and have a fantastic time!  

James Jude Courtney, esteemed actor, was on hand for a Q & A regarding his role as Michael Myers in the Halloween films. A live auction of autographed Michael Myers mask brought in over $4,000 for Batavia United Way!
