Day of Caring

In the Fall, the Batavia United Way organizes a Day of Caring to help Senior Citizens in Batavia, who need assistance, rake their fall leaves. Volunteers meet bringing a rake, gloves, tarps and lots of energy. United Way assigns teams of volunteers a raking assignment. Yards are raked only; no mowing, no weed pulling. This is a great activity for families or to do with friends and only 2 hours of a Sunday afternoon.

For Fall raking dates, to volunteer, or to add a Senior Citizen to our list of those needing assistance please contact or call our office at 630-877-2780.
