Join Batavia United Way for one of our community’s most anticipated evenings—a celebration of great food, local flavor, and neighbors coming together for a meaningful cause.
This year’s Community Dinner Table invites you to enjoy a relaxed coastal-inspired evening featuring delicious cuisine prepared by local restaurants, refreshing beverages provided by local establishments, live music, exciting raffles, and the unforgettable experience of gathering around one extraordinarily long table in the heart of our community.
More than just a dinner, Community Dinner Table is an opportunity to make a difference.
Every ticket purchased helps Batavia United Way and our community partners combat food insecurity and ensure local families have access to nutritious meals and essential support throughout the year.

What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes dinner and dessert from local restaurants, beverages provided by local establishments, live entertainment, and participation in this unique community experience.
Is seating assigned?
No. Seating is open, encouraging neighbors and friends to gather together at one long community table.
Is the event outdoors?
Yes. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
What should I wear?
Casual summer attire is encouraged. Feel free to embrace the coastal theme! (Although leave the swimwear at home! 
)
Will there be vegetarian or dietary options?
We will work with participating restaurants to offer a variety of options whenever possible. The main dish will be chicken and shrimp, but all sides are vegetarian. We are still finalizing the menu and will provide updates as available.
Where does the money go?
Proceeds support Batavia United Way and community partners working to address food insecurity and provide resources for Batavia residents, including local food pantries, senior citizen food programs, and delivered meals for those with serious illnesses.
Are tickets refundable?
As a charitable fundraiser, tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another guest by notifying Batavia United Way in advance either by email (info@bataviaunitedway.org) or by calling us at 630-877-2780.
What happens if it rains?
We will do our best to hold the event rain or shine. Any weather-related updates will be communicated through Batavia United Way’s website and social media channels.
Can I purchase raffle tickets or bid on auction items at the event?
Yes! Raffle tickets and silent auction will be available during the evening.
How can I help?

Celebrating community, connection, and compassion at our signature outdoor dining event.
Our 2025 Community Dinner Table was an incredible evening of food, fun, and community spirit! Guests gathered under the open sky to enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired meal prepared by local restaurants, perfectly paired with beverages donated by our generous partners. Live music from a strolling guitarist set the tone for a relaxed, joyful evening.
Thanks to the support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees, we raised vital funds to continue Batavia United Way’s mission of expanding youth opportunities, improving access to health, supporting financial stability, and building a more resilient community, with particular attention to combatting food insecurity in our community.
We also took a big step toward sustainability, diverting pounds of organic waste from landfills through composting. Together, we proved that we can celebrate and care for our planet at the same time.
From the lively raffle and silent auction to the warm conversations shared around the table, the 2025 Community Dinner Table truly showcased the heart of Batavia.
